Maybe I need to do some hard time ;P Put me away in solitary confinement, in the craft room. I swear that is a good punishment for me :D
Anyways, I had to repeat a few more projects to make up for that lost package (damn you, USPS!!!)
So I made another little match container, and the etching turned out better. Again, reusing a jelly jar I had.
Also, I had to redo the recipe book I made. But the good thing is that I was thinking about it and made it better the second time. For one thing, I found a paper trimmer on sale at the Ashley Warehouse sale, so was able to make nice straight cuts.
But I followed the same format, using the printed recipes for my favourite fall/holiday foods, and added hand written notes about them, and used some Fall themed stamps for decoration.
Also, this time, I added my favourite holiday picture to the back, instead of as a separate card. I love this picture of my siblings, and it's tribute to my grandmom's mad sewing skills (if not her choice of patterns).
