Random tip of the day - dessicant packs
You know those little packs of silica gel that come in various containers - they are meant to keep certain store bought items from absorbing moisture and keeping them fresh and dry. You know them, the tiny little sealed pouches of dry beady things that are labelled "Do not eat". I often find them in my shoe boxes.
Don't throw them out. Reuse them for keeping your other dry goods dry. For example, when I made my match holders, I tucked a pouch or two into the containers to keep my matches dry. Pop some into containers of crafting goods, like your paper goods, to keep them dry too :D
